You really need to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to fully appreciate this amazing 1999 Corvette. Just browse the photos and ask yourself “why would I get a C7 when I could have this?”

I’ll tell you why:

Theme? Check

Car show participation stickers? Check

Two tone paint scheme? Check

Airbrush work of tweety bird? Well, not for sure, but probably

What we have here is THE most Corvette owner Corvette. The wild asking price is the icing on the cake. That or the fact he’s selling it for health reasons but will consider a trade for a dune buggy.

Because of course we all know when you are getting rid of your prized Vette the healthier option is a dune buggy.

Meh, but with a P1SC? That's kind of weak. If it was a true show car you'd think he would want to brag about 800hp that it's surely capable of.

Ok, I grabbed an older post of yours for less traffic...

I just realized you had a ST and do NASA. I’m guessing you know of the MMW one here in WI? Those are my friends, who threw the party...

There are plenty of events to get on track at RA, just normal track days though. The first one is April 30/May 1!

My dad has a little Solstice, but I don’t think he actually tracks it much. He tried, but I think he realized it’s not for him after all.

Hah yeah, I’m friends with Travis on Facebook. Followed their build because I was trying to figure out how to keep my car from overheating on the track.

I know I've seen a Solstice out there parked. Do you know George then? He's.... interesting. Membership prices went from 1100 the first year to 850 though. Each year after that went down to 550, so I can justify it.

Yeah, I’ve been friends with Travis and the rest of MMW for about 5 years now. Good people. My fun car is napping in their storage building for winter.

$550 is a little high, but about one weekend of RA. Right now the event in April is $400 for two days, which is crazy cheap.

And yeah, interesting is accurate for him...

What is this fun car of yours? And yeah, $550 would be fine if the Guardrail Club did stuff like it did when it first started. Some guys I race Formula Vee’s yet who are members say it’s not worth it. But they just have Vee’s, not track cars. George doesn’t allow Vee’s on track during the club days, and it makes sense. I just want to be on track more.

It's a fairly modified Cobalt SS. It's going to be around 300hp to the wheel this year, it's getting some new toys when it comes out of storage.

Oh nice, good platform. Turbo or S/C? The Focus ST is so hard to get power out of. Handles great but it's a money pit.

Supercharged! Props for knowing there were two versions, a lot of people only know about the turbo ones. It crossed the line to being a money pit years ago, but I can’t just leave it now that it’s pretty decent.

I took a look at Travis’ friend list and I'm pretty sure I figured out who you are, if Nick is your name, based on your username... Is that weird?

Oh and my brother got a Cobalt SS when they came out. He was trying to get into that market but it ended up not working out so he primarily does LSX work.
